E-mail - Faculty and staff e-mail addresses are available on each school site. Traditionally the addresses are first initial last name @lvusd.org (i.e. jdoe@lvusd.org) Teachers can access squirrel mail at http://mail.lvusd.org.

Why can't I e-mail parents from home using Thunderbird?

You can e-mail anyone with a lvusd.org account from anywhere, but for security reasons any address out of lvusd can not be replied to using Thunderbird from off campus. You can always use http://mail.lvusd.org from home. You can also set up a second account in Thunderbird and reply from that account when you are off campus. See Video Tutorial.
